                  1 Corinthians 2:1-16    Christ crucified - God's power and wisdom
                   Matthew 2:1-12          The Magi visit the Messiah

Sermon:   "Home by another way" -  Matthew 2:1-12.

Upcoming events:

Saturday (8th Feb) - A Sunday School Fellowship BBQ is being held at Trinity Church Hall from 6pm for children, parents, grandparents and teachers.  Sausages, hamburgers, tea/coffee and ice-cream for dessert will be provided.  Please bring a salad and/or savoury nibbles, and your own drinks.  We look forward to bringing families together for a successful social event.

Monday (10th Feb) - The Young Adult Small Group will be meeting at Bec's residence from 7pm.  Please bring some food to share.  All young folk from 18 years and up are most welcome to join us.

Monday (10th Feb) - Church Council members are meeting at Trinity Church from 7:30pm.

Sunday (16th Feb) - Counters, Bankers, and Stewardship Committee will have a short meeting immediately following the 9am church service at Trinity, for a review of processes and procedures.
